Blue Pea Flower Tea
Blue Pea Flower Tea is made from the petals of the Clitoria Ternatea plant, also known as Butterfly Pea, Asian Pigeonwings, Blue Pea, Bluebellvine, Darwin pea, or Cordofan Pea. Blue Pea Flower Tea brews into an exquisite royal blue infusion with a mild floral taste and earthiness.
It is a divine herbal tea known for its blue appearance and several health benefits. Add a few 'magical' drops of lemon and watch the infusion change from blue to purple! Whether you drink it hot or cold (iced), Blue Pea Flower Tea goes well with/without honey.
- Take five teaspoons of Blue Pea Flower Tea and add it to 250 ml of near-boiling water (208°F/97°C).
- Let it rest for 5 minutes, and strain the tea using an infuser
- Add in honey to taste and serve hot or cold
- You can squeeze lemon to transform the tea from blue to purple
How to Choose the Right Tea?
With so many tea varieties available, choosing the right one can be overwhelming. It all depends on your taste and needs!
Green tea is ideal for its antioxidant properties and light flavor. Black tea is stronger and richer in caffeine, making it perfect for an energy boost. White tea, delicate and refined, is the least processed. Oolong tea offers a perfect balance between green and black tea.
